COMMONWEALTH-REGISTERED MARRIAGE CELEBRANT
Equality . Respect . Love
William Shakespeare
“When I saw you I fell in love, and you smiled because you knew.”
WHO I AM
I’m a queer marriage celebrant living in the Inner West with my family of 4 girls (5 if you count our dog, Fraggle) and also our old cranky kitty, Mr Cat Stevens. My goal is to create a safe space for all my couples regardless of their gender, and who they are choosing to marry.
As well as my love for weddings, pets and colouring my hair Pink or Purple, I really enjoy an adventure. So I am always willing to travel outside of the Inner West, to other parts of Australia and world-wide. I have performed over 150 weddings, I have the experience to make sure your wedding is relaxed, fun, enjoyable and truely unforgettable.
I have a passion for love, equality, respect and specialising in LGBTQIA weddings. Being a part of the queer community I've had many couple's who have chosen me to be their celebrant as I realise the importance of belonging, having the right language and wanting non-traditional weddings.
You can trust me to take care of your celebration, and to make it what the two of you are really wanting out of your day. I am a mum to 2 beautiful little girls, been married to my wife for 9 years. I am a total animal lover, being a Veterinary Nurse for over 10 years. Thinking of bringing or including your pet in your ceremony? Amazing!
The day marriage equality was passed in Australia in 2017, I knew that I wanted to become a celebrant and help make couple's "dream day" a reality. I've been doing it ever since and absolutely love it.

VOW RENEWALS
I do, again!!!!!
Weddings are certainly cause for celebration, but they really just mark the easy part. The real success comes later, after your love weathers all the ups and downs of marriage. That's why vow renewal ceremonies are so important.
You can renew your vows however many years, and however many times, after tying the knot, giving you the opportunity to celebrate your love in a much more intimate way than a wedding. Plus, without the pressure from your family, you can essentially do whatever you want.
There are several reasons that couples decide to renew their vows. These can be:
-
The couple is celebrating a wedding day anniversary.
-
The couple has married overseas and some family members were not able to travel.
-
The both of you love a good party and a renewal of vows in front of your nearest and dearest is the perfect reason!
Whatever the reason, let me help you design and create the most romantic way to say "I do, still".
NAMING CEREMONIES
Welcome to the world
A Naming Ceremony is a celebration of family and life. I will write a ceremony for you that is personalised and meaningful. It can be as short and sweet as you like, or we can go more in depth and add lots of detail. The most important part is choosing the aspects that are special to you and your family.
It will include officially naming your child and declarations of promises and commitments from parents and other significant members of the family.
Parents state their hopes and wishes for the child’s future and will share the experience with family and friends who attend the ceremony. You may also choose 'guideparents' or 'guardians' to make commitments to support and guide the child as they grow. Some like to personalise the ceremony with readings and poems or include symbolic elements such as lighting candles or planting.
The family usually hold a celebration after the ceremony at the same location.
