Lara & Rory — A Gentle, Joy-Filled Wedding at The Bible Garden, Palm Beach

This weekend I had the absolute joy of marrying the loveliest couple, Lara and Rory, at one of Sydney’s most breathtaking hidden gems: The Bible Garden in Palm Beach. Perched high above the coastline with sweeping ocean views, it’s the kind of place that feels like it has its own heartbeat — calm, sacred, and held by nature. The perfect setting for a love story like theirs.

From the moment I arrived, I could feel how deeply this day meant to them. The sun was warm, the breeze gentle, and the garden looked like it had been painted into perfection just for their ceremony. Friends and family gathered beneath the sky, taking in the sea air and the views stretching all the way to the horizon.

Lara walked in absolutely glowing — a mix of excitement, softness, and that unmistakable “this is it” moment. Rory’s face when he saw her said everything words never could. These two have a way of looking at each other that makes the whole world pause.

Their ceremony was heartfelt and full of intention. We laughed, we cried, and we soaked up every moment. They chose a ceremony that felt like them: relaxed but meaningful, joyful but grounded, and centred on the beautiful friendship at the heart of their relationship.
